The ball of trunnion mounted ball valve is fixed, supported by a fixed trunnion and sliding bearing.When closed, the ball will not move by the action of the medium, the structure ensures the ball maintain on the exact central position even under high pressure, which can improve the operation performance; the seat is spring loaded, the spring push the seat to the ball to guarantee a good bi-direction sealing; with drain valve, the body cavity release the medium out; shaft is anti-blow out to avoid leakage; bearing of low friction coefficient minimum the torque value for an easy open and close; stem in touch with body avoiding large amount of static generate.

(1)Urgent grease injection device

the trunnion ball valves (≥DN150) made by GENERAL VALVE are provided with devices for urgent grease injection, when fire breaks out or accident happens, the medium leakage between the body and stem can be prevented by injecting 50℃thawlesssealing grease to the seat and stem through the device. Inside the valve there is a check valve for back up use.

(2)Double-block and bleed functions

Each seat of the trunnion mounted ball valve can separately cut off the medium at both inlet and outlet of the valveto realize double-block functions. When the ball valve is closed, body cavity and two of the body ends can be blocked with each other even if both the inlet and outlet are under pressure, when the medium left in the body cavity might be bled through the relief valve.

(3)Self-relief in the body cavity

As the liquid medium left in the body cavity gasifies due to increased temperature, the pressure in the body cavity becomes abnormally higher, when the medium itself in the cavity would propel the seat and self-relieves the pressure to ensure the safety of valve.

(4)Fire safe design

Our ball valve designed with double O-ring together with graphite winding pads, when the O-ring damaged by fire, the graphite pad can prevent the body medium leak out.
